SWEET DISTRIBUTION TO THE RURAL POOR

The village poor childrens’ daily menu is very pitable. There is no variety. Every day and every time only insipid porridge is available. Taking sweets is highly luxury for poor children. But Ashram sisters will carry enormous varieties of Sweets & Snacks to distribute during Deepavali festival to various villages. The sweets chocked in real love would bringout the hidden sparkling happiness of the poor children.

DRESS DISTRIBUTION TO RURAL POOR

Many poor Villagers are striving a lot for their daily food. With few rags as their possession, they somehow manage their lives. Buying new clothes are beyond their imagination. Sri Sarada Ashram brings smiles on their faces by distributing new clothes during Deepavali festival.

NYLON MATS & BLANKKETS DISTRIBUTION TO RURAL POOR

During the winter, the ashram distributes Nylon Mats or Blankets to the village poor who are so aged and left uncared. The mats and blankets are great solace to them to protect them from the piercing winter season.

NOTEBOOKS, UNIFORM AND SCHOLARSHIP DISTRIBUTION TO RURAL STUDENTS:

Every year Ashram distributes Notebooks and Uniforms to the deserved poor students in various villages. Best Rank holders in 10th Standard & +2 are selected in various villages and Scholarship is also provided for them.

Poongavanam, a 70 year old from Nemili village narrates her story,

"I have two sons and two daughters. Even a couple of years back I used to work well, but due to my old age I am unable to continue the same now. My daughters-in-law were forcing me to involve in household works like cooking and cleaning, and if I fail to listen to them they refused to give me food.
